The San Bernardino Associated Governments on Wednesday allocated $15 million to two High Desert bridge projects which are expected to ease traffic and spur economic development. … The La Mesa/Nisqualli interchange off the 15 Freeway will cost an estimated $63 million. Funds from SANBAG and Measure I have already been dedicated to the project. Construction is expected to begin as early as the end of this year.

The Yucca Loma Bridge will extend from Yucca Loma Road in Apple Valley. Workers expect to break ground on the project this year or early next year, Mitzelfelt said.
